Dreamers Mentoring Program

Identify Your Dream was born from the recognition that many young people, particularly in BIPOC communities, grapple with the weight of grief and loss, often without the necessary tools to process their emotions. In these communities, the stigma surrounding mental health care often prevents individuals from seeking help and prioritizing their well-being. This unaddressed pain can lead to displaced anger and perpetuate cycles of crime. Recognizing the urgency of breaking this cycle, Identify Your Dream was founded with the mission to provide support, guidance, and a safe space for these young individuals to heal and find hope. Through our programs and services, we aspire to be a catalyst for positive change, fostering resilience and brighter futures in the face of adversity.

Dreamers Mentoring Program pairs youth who have experienced a tragic loss of a loved one with experienced mentors who have walked similar paths. This unique one-on-one mentoring relationship offers a safe space for our young dreamers to share their emotions, learn coping mechanisms, and develop the skills needed to navigate grief and build a brighter future.
